Planning Session – Building a Strategy Deployment System
How effectively are you deploying strategic initiatives throughout the organization? How do you know if your strategic plan is impacting organizational goals?
Developing a strategic plan is a competency that most organizations have mastered. However, deploying this strategy while at the same time practicing Plan Do Study Act (PDSA) thinking, is a much harder task. During this one-day session the senior team will build a strategy deployment system custom-made for the organization. The process starts with definition of purpose and scope and moves through steps to determine system behavior and performance outcomes as well as process/structure, tools and triggers. A final discussion will center on renewal mechanisms to monitor and continuously improve the system.
At the end of this work session the executive team will have designed the following:
- A draft design for a strategy deployment system
- A plan for next steps in the implementation
